We encode audio to Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo and/or Dolby Digital 5.1
and DTS (Digital Theatre Systems) digital surround 5.1.
We also use normal Stereo, Dolby digital 5.1 and DTS surround 5.1.
Encoding is possible from any video format. However, Digital Betacam is preferred.
A completely digitally mastered programme (as produced at ACB Wommels BV)
guarantees higher image quality, and this is of particularly great importance for DVD applications.
Our DVD workstations, with broadcast digital (SDI) inputs and outputs,
are equipped with special image processing software, and there are a number of
authoring software packages installed for CD-ROM, Video CD and DVD presentations.
Our DLT mastering enables us to produce DVDs in bulk.

In addition to the standard 4:3 picture format, we also work in 16:9 wide screen a great deal.
We work with all television standards - PAL, NTSC, SECAM, PALM, etc.
